In talk with Morgenland magazine, No. 89: Ernst Munk on the Situation of the Nation and the ongoing Struggle against the Super Recession: |
Why the combat against the Credit Squeeze must have Priority in Economic Policy making: |
|
|
The World must not lose out on the Technical Standards only on Account of Lack of Capital.
Chancellor Merkel does have the task of Sisyphus ahead of her. A guarantee of success for achieving the rehabilitation of the public budgets and the total restructuring of the German Industry has been expressly excluded by her. |

Where and how much money can be saved on the Government projects is not shown in the Coalition Agreement. The answers to this however, are known since more than five years. The principles have been laid down and have been updated in the catalogue of means by Munk in the "Prophylaxis against Insolvency 11 (2004 Gabler) and the "Masterplan for the World Economy" (2010 Gabler). Everyone of these measures is cut into the so beloved benefices of the Governmental bureaucracies and the associations, the Regional Governments, the Regional Banks, the Social and Health Care Systems and the Unions. For all of these measures Restructuring Experts are needed, to prevent the enormous drain of capital and to redirect these sums into labor intensive projects. This has to be done to create new jobs, and oppose the trend of impoverishment of the public, specially the working class in Germany.
It is for this Reason, that we require a completely new Growth Acceleration Legislation, one which is written exclusively by Restructuring Experts and which will be implemented only by them.
It is not only the worldwide impoverishment which alarmed the G20 Governments. At medium term the global technological standard and with it the standard of civilization is at peril. If the accomplishments of the "Age of Technology and Information" are to be kept and left to our youth as basis for new developments, then an enormous amount work, organization and knowledge as well as capital is the prerequisite. This raises the sorrowful question: Is the German National Economy or our Economic System, for Europe, for Mankind still able to mobilize such enormous economic and spiritual strength if the World Economy tumbles from crisis to crisis on a weekly basis?
The Civilization is in grave Danger on account of the Finance and Economic Catastrophe.
This is more doubtful than ever, since real investments in technology for the future are continuously being cut back. The Media lanes, the Internet, transport routes, health services around the world have to be maintained, repaired, organized and generally be kept in service. And it is for this reason that the capital required for this task cannot, as occurred in October 2008, was subjected to destruction on stock exchanges and/or squandered away for expensive bank salvations.
More and more it recognized, that the World Economy, is a widely branched out Network which will not regenerate and stabilize itself without cost and not continuously. Good Bye - American Way of Life?!
If one accepts the World Economy as a huge social-economical organism, which today is Internet and Satellite guided, it becomes clear, that the negative impacts are in other areas then painful cutbacks in pensions and old age benefits, which are enjoyed by privileged groups of the world population, and which was to provide specially in western industrialized countries for an eve in comfort. This raises the question viewed by the Anglo-American West if this system can be propagated for an ever growing part of the World population.
This however, is not the real problem, apart from the fact that this would only be possible, if the World Economy would continue the present Specialization, Research, Development and Division of Responsibility into full cooperation of National Economies in solving problems. And lastly it would require more than just fighting a Worldwide Economic Disaster, but would require the awareness of each people and each government that the true problems of mankind can only be solved in true international cooperation and projects: Clean drinking water, food for all, true conservation of the environment, high health standards. All this would require working in a network of new strategies and projects from clean energy generation to fighting epidemics.
